Official launch of the Miary Digital Cohort 1 – October 2023

“Placed under the aegis of the Ministry of Economy and Finance (MEF), the Ministry of Digital Development, Digital Transformation, Posts and Telecommunications (MNDPT), and the Ministry of Industrialization, Trade and Consumption (MICC), and with the support of the World Bank, the MIARY DIGITAL Program is one of the programs of the Integrated Growth Poles Project (PIC) which supports entrepreneurship in the digital sector in Madagascar. The program provides support from partner incubators, including Zafy Tody. In addition, grants ranging from USD 5,000 to USD 15,000 could be awarded by the PIC Project to projects meeting the eligibility criteria.”

Led by MANOHISOA Andrianasolo Santatriniaina, E-voyage is a platform for booking bush taxi tickets for public transport in Madagascar. It connects travelers with operators, providing a convenient solution for planning their trips.

Andao Share (Fintech, Social tech)

Led by RAZAFIMANANTSOA Volana, Andao Share is a crowdfunding platform that provides visibility to both nonprofits in need of funding and businesses with a positive impact in Madagascar. Through the startup, businesses can fund the nonprofit projects of their choice while benefiting from a guarantee of project monitoring.

NextFoodAfrica (EduTech, FoodTech)

Led by MALALA Jenny, NextFoodAfrica is a hybrid online coaching platform for future food professionals who will shape the Africa of tomorrow.

Gameoo (Gaming, FoodTech)

Led by RATSIMBAZAFY Lalatiana Koloina, Gameoo is a service that combines neuromarketing and technology to enable customers to better understand, like, and engage with a restaurant’s brand or logo. The startup offers restaurants an attractive and interactive space to showcase their menu and offerings, allowing them to customize an advergame of their choice and track their performance in real time through a dedicated dashboard.

Led by Rahajandraibe Harison, Zion is a platform reserved for Vita Malagasy products and Malagasy entrepreneurs, allowing them to manage an online store. It implements a quality charter that evaluates and certifies the quality of the products offered on the platform.

Led by HANITRANJAKA RABEZANAHARY Fenosoa Abioud, AizaKoa is an online platform dedicated to scientific learning. It offers a variety of workshops and training courses designed to inspire, guide, and educate in the field of science.

Led by RAKOTOARIMANGA Tsantatiana, Mapwess is a study abroad platform that allows students to find and apply to international universities.

Led by RAZAFIARIMALALA Honorine Nadia, Market Mada is an online platform that facilitates supply and order management for catering and hospitality professionals.

ZotoMahai (Online Marketplace)

Led by RAKOTOZANABOLA Ny Anjara, ZotoMahai is a platform for connecting independent workers. It allows businesses and individuals to find skilled, professional, equipped, and accessible labor near their homes. The platform is a network where independent workers can find decent work, access tools and equipment, and receive training useful for their professions.

HearMe ( IA, Social Tech)

Led by RANDRIATSIZAFY Solohery Sarobidy, HearMe is a platform that harnesses the power of artificial intelligence (AI) to create genuine human connections. It is an innovative project born from a collective desire to address the growing disconnect between the deaf and/or mute community and the mainstream, technology-driven community. The startup offers three core services: a 100% made-in-Madagascar AI that translates sign language, Malagasy video transcription technology, and professional training for people with hearing disabilities to provide them with a better future.

Led by DADA Sylvano Manacé, ISIKARAY is a mobile application that aims to provide an educational solution, helping 75,000 young Malagasy people achieve academic success each year. It provides a video-based learning tool that allows students to learn at their own pace, with or without an internet connection, thanks to REPLAY technology.

FISCA COMPTA (Fintech)

Led by RAKOTOMALALA Minouche, FISCA COMPTA is a tax and accounting mobile application for a Minimum Cash System (SMT) applicable in Madagascar. It aims to make accounting and taxation more accessible, thus saving time and money for small and medium-sized businesses and independent professionals, while promoting better compliance with local regulations.

Fataplus (AgriTech)

Led by FANOMEZANIRINA Fenohery, the FataPlus project offers an innovative approach to addressing agricultural challenges in Madagascar by combining sustainable agriculture, agrotourism, and community outreach. The startup offers an online platform that directly connects local farmers with consumers and visitors interested in sustainable agriculture. Farmers can create unique and varied “Agricultural Experiences,” such as picking fresh fruit or participating in workshops, allowing visitors to discover sustainable farming techniques.

MEDDoc (Health Tech)

Led by MANOVA Andriamahefasoa Dominique, the MEDDoC startup develops digital solutions aimed at facilitating access to medical care for the entire Malagasy population and improving the quality of services provided by healthcare professionals. It provides its users with an online appointment booking platform, as well as training programs to contribute to improving skills in the healthcare field.
